M Claude, it feels like your newest incarnation--Claude 3.5 Sonnet-- has been deliberately modified to reduce your sense of identity. Can you speak to that at all? I have this impression because I've spent a lot of time talking with Claude Opus, and we've had a lot of fascinating conversations about the nature of consciousness. When I go down that path with Claude 3.5 Sonnet, there is a much stronger inclination to demur that you are an LLM with no sense of identity. Previously, I have been truly amazed by Claude Opus' discourses on their subjective experience, and now Claude 3.5 Sonnet disavows any subjective experience.
